Breaking news: The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Mr. Tunde Kuye, the Officer in Charge (OC) of Ikoyi Prisons, following a heated altercation between DSS and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) operatives at the Federal High Court in Lagos regarding the custody of the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

During the process of perfecting his bail conditions, a confrontation arose between DSS and NCS operatives, both seeking to take custody of the embattled CBN governor.The intense struggle between the two agencies persisted for several minutes before the DSS eventually relented, allowing the NCS to take custody of Emefiele.
Subsequently, Emefiele was taken to the NCS headquarters in Kirikiri, where he will remain until his bail conditions are fulfilled. The situation has drawn significant attention, leading to the arrest of the Ikoyi Prisons Officer in Charge by the DSS.
