Mr Loverty Terhemba Maikyur (Jnr), the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for introducing the Students’ Loan Scheme for Nigerian students, describing it as a laudable initiative.

He said, “The government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked upon Your Development Project. In his campaigns, if you had followed him, he said there is going to be student loans and the beneficiaries will have the opportunity to go and study and then come back and give back to the society; and that is just for a start”.
He urged people of the state especially the youths to sustain prayers for the SGF and President Tinubu as well as the party both at the federal, state and local government levels to continue to provide dividends of democracy to the people of the state and the country at large.
Mr Maikyur commended Tinubu for appointing Senator Akume to serve him as the SGF, describing it as a well-deserved appointment.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has enormous responsibilities on its shoulders to rebuild the nation, and only the support of Nigerians and prayers would make him succeed.
He commended the youths in the state for the zeal they exhibited during the last general elections that saw the APC coast to victory and advised them to sustain the support.
The SGF’s aide said party politics was over and it is now the time for governance and implored the youths and people of the state to eschew all forms of acrimony and support Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration for the development of the state….CONTINUE READING
