JUST IN: Millennium Rep Toby Okechukwu Goes Extra Mile Insist on finishing all Projects after Exiting Office

Days after leaving office, the former Enugu Rep Deputy Minority Leader who represented Awgu Aninri Oji Federal Constituency, RT Hon. Toby Okechukwu, has continued inspection of ongoing projects in his constituency.

Speaking after the inspection, Hon. Okechukwu expressed satisfaction at the quality of work done by SETRACO Nigeria Limited and urged them to increase the pace of finishing the project.

He assured the locals of his determination to complete all projects yet to be completed by his administration, such as Amoli, Ugwueme, and Amabo Obodo Asa roads, to ensure that all areas are covered.

Hon. Okechukwu also appealed to members of the community to desist from activities that will damage the road, urging them to drive within the standard speed limit.

The project manager had earlier complained of construction of speed breakers and burning of tyres on the road by members of the community.

In a statement, the Project Manager, SETRACO Nigeria Limited, Mr. Hazeem Nakjar, said that 19.5 kilometers of the road is at the finishing stage and will be completed by October after the rainy season.

Mr. Hazeem also noted that work on the additional 6 kilometers and finishing on the Oji/Awgu road will equally commence in October, depending on the availability of funds.
