A commanding officer of the rank of lieutenant colonel, two majors, one captain, and twelve soldiers lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The DHQ shared the the photos and names of the soldiers in a post via its X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

The fallen soldiers were of 181 Amphibious Battalion, Bomadi, n Bomadi Local Government of Delta State.
