The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) is currently in session, with top members from Nigeria’s three major parties in attendance. Among those present are Kashim Shettima, Julius Abure, Abdullahi Ganduje, Femi Gbajabiamila, Nuhu Ribadu, and Bala Mohammed.

Omokri, in his analysis of Obi’s petition against President Tinubu, stated, “The likelihood of the PEPC granting Peter Obi’s plea to annul the 2023 Nigerian elections and call for a re-run is slim. Yet, Obi’s own nomination as the Labour Party candidate seems questionable. It’s debatable if Obi was even listed on the Labour Party’s register submitted to INEC.”

“Given these technicalities, Obi might find himself on the losing end. Prepare for disappointment and intense propaganda from Obi’s supporters,” Omokri added. “Meanwhile, Atiku’s petitions are more grounded, pointing out INEC’s lapses and urging that based on these inconsistencies, he be declared the winner.”

I back the Nigerian police’s commitment to maintain order and stability. I also urge ‘Obidients’ to exercise restraint. Nigeria remains united despite political disputes….CONTINUE READING
