That is according to a report from The Daily Mail.

It was reported that Armando Broja, 22, is back in ‘full training’ with Chelsea at Cobham.

Now, the young striker will soon get his first competitive minutes since rupturing his ACL last December in a friendly against Aston Villa.

The report claims that the Albania international is expected to feature in at least one of the fixtures for Chelsea’s Under-21s side over the next seven days. Incidentally, the young Blues side take on Luton Town (tonight), Manchester City (Friday) and Northampton Town (next Tuesday).

This is fantastic news to hear at a time when Chelsea’s goal threat looks as ineffective as the past couple of seasons.

We’re not pinning all our hopes on young talent Broja to solve the team’s problems, but it’ll be a big boost to the squad when he can compete with Nicolas Jackson for the No 9 striker position.

It may take some time for Broja to get up to full speed after so long on the sidelines. It’s worth highlighting there is another international break just around the corner in October, though.

He’s a frontman with tremendous pace and power. It felt like he was destined to get a run in the XI last season before his injury mid-season, too.
