Recall that Datti Baba Ahmed, who served as the running mate to Peter Obi in the recent elections, has been in the headlines since their loss at the polls. Both Ahmed and Obi are currently challenging President Tinubu’s electoral victory in court.

Amidst these developments, President Tinubu recently appointed the Vice Chancellor of Baze University, Tahir Mamman, to oversee the Education Ministry. This move has raised eyebrows, especially among the Obidients, who have been vocal in their criticism of their former campaign director-general, Doyin Okupe. Okupe had earlier commended President Tinubu for his immediate action since taking office, asserting that the president was indeed “hitting the ground running.”
